This exceptional vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver coffee service/set consists of a coffee pot, cream jug and sugar bowl.

The coffee pot has a plain octagonal tapering panelled form onto a stepped collet style foot in the George I style.

The sugar bowl has an octagonal rounded panelled form and the cream jug has a panelled baluster form, each supported by octagonal stepped spreading bases.

The body of each piece is plain and unembellished apart from an applied moulded border to the rim of the cream jug and sugar bowl.

The coffee pot is fitted with a hallmarked domed panelled hinged cover surmounted by an impressive panelled urn style finial.

This impressive coffee pot has a carved wood handle with a scrolling thumbpiece and plain sterling silver sockets.

The cream jug is fitted with a sterling silver opposing scroll handle.

The coffee pot is fitted with a plain swan necked spout and the cream jug has a plain panelled spout.

This fine George I style coffee service sits to an impressive associate electroplated silver gallery tray.

The tray has a plain rectangular cut cornered form with a plain raised gallery and an integrated angular handle to either end.

This antique tray is supported by four bun style feet and bears the electroplate hallmarks for John Dixon and Sons circa 1900 to the underside.

Date: 1982

The components of this vintage coffee service are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The service has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

The tray retains the original silver plating which is unworn; the surface however does show some signs of wear, as to be expected.

Full sterling hallmarks struck to the underside of each piece of the coffee service and part hallmarks to the interior of the coffee pot cover are all very clear.

The electroplate hallmarks to the underside of the tray are also very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these impressive examples of vintage silverware.
