This stunning vintage jewellery set has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.
The impressive vintage necklace has a symmetrical stranded form, ornamented with a total of one-hundred and four oval faceted cut sapphires and two-hundred and forty-nine modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The anterior portion of the necklace setting is embellished with three graduating strands of sapphires alternating with two diamonds in a linear arrangement; each strand secures from one segment of a trifurcating, forked motif to either side.
This articulating design suspends from an impressive oval cluster arrangement, comprised of a central sapphire encircled with diamonds.
The diamond and sapphire necklace setting is further ornamented with a double stranded array, replicating the aforementioned stranded arrangement; this twin-stranded design is flanked with further trifurcating settings.
The posterior portion of the necklace incorporates a single strand of sapphires and diamonds, securing to the reverse with a discreet hallmarked push fit catch, and benefits from the added security of a safety catch.
These vintage earrings feature a further symmetric stranded array, reflecting that of the necklace.
Each earring is embellished with sixteen impressive oval faceted cut sapphires and fifty-seven modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The earrings are each ornamented to the upper portion with a further sapphire cluster design, surmounted with two diamonds in a horizontal linear arrangement.
Each earring is further embellished with a trifurcating lobed motif, supporting three tassel strands, reflecting the same arrangement as that to the necklace.
The tassel design drops may be removed via a discreet hook to the upper portion of the setting; this allows the pieces to be utilised as day and night earrings.
The earrings, for pierced ears, secure to the reverse with a threaded post and screw fitment.
This stunning jewellery suite is fitted to the original hinged velvet presentation box, with a satin and velvet lined interior, securing with two hinged catches.
