This exceptional antique Scottish silver snuff mull has been modelled in the form of a seal.

The antique horn body of this seal snuff mull features a plain silver mount fitted with a hinged cover.

The cover is embellished with an impressive horn panel accented with a cut-cornered rectangular silver vacant cartouche to the centre; the horn panel secures with two silver rivets.

The terminal of the body is modelled in the form of a seal's face and is ornamented with inset ivory eyes.

The mount to this antique seal snuff mull is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and is in exceptional condition.

The original horn body is in perfect condition.
