Description

These stunning, fine and impressive antique pearl earrings have been crafted in 18ct yellow and rose gold.

Each two-tone gold earring has been crafted in the shape of a decorative urn, ornamented with impressive floral and foliate motifs.

The articulated drops are ornamented with fine and impressive seed pearls, encircling the body, neck and scalloped foot of each urn in linear bands.

The spiralling handles of each urn are ornamented with further seed pearls, each encircled with a twisted rope border.

The floral and foliate motifs to the apex of each urn are embellished with sharp decoration and bordered by yellow gold ball motifs.

The apex of each impressive pierced decorated design is ornamented with further floral and foliate motifs, in addition to a rose gold oval motif encompassed with fourteen impressive seed pearls.

A multi-pearl tassel suspends from the nadir of each impressive drop earring.

These early 19th century earrings for pierced ears secure to the reverse with French latch style fastening.

These impressive earrings are hallmarked to the fastenings with the French import hallmark for gold (owl).

The impressive tassel earrings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold.

These impressive pearl tassel gold earrings are supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Such exceptional and original antique examples are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
