The raised borders of three antique silver plates are encompassed with impressive chased Arts and Crafts style decoration incorporating interlacing fruiting vine ornamentation; the fourth plate bears convex vacant cartouches amidst scrolling leaf decoration intersected by four large textured panels all in the Arts and Crafts style.

The rim of each antique second course dish is encircled with a chased bead decorated border.

These exceptional and collectable sterling silver plates were crafted by Thomas Adolphus Falcon* in Birmingham, England; these items will have been crafted in the same year but due to the hallmarking system three plates are struck with the date letter 'c' and the remaining plate bears 'd'.

* Thomas Adolphus Falcon is a recognised landscape painter and was elected as a Member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 1902. He is known for his artistic flare amongst all aspects of his career.
