This exceptional, antique George V sterling silver clock has a plain arch shaped form onto four bun feet.

The surface of this large clock is plain and unembellished.

The white enamel dial is ornamented with black hour Roman numerals, encircled with plain black chapter ring accented with minute markers.

The face of this antique timepiece is visible through a circular glass 'window' with a plain silver border.

The hallmarked hinged door opens to reveal the original eight-day French movement and original gilded interior.

The clock movement is fitted with an incorporated hinged winding key, featuring a rounded, lobed handle.

The hallmarked sterling silver clock door has a very subtle shaped edge to facilitate opening.

The movement has been professionally overhauled and is supplied with a twelve month guarantee.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the clock and part hallmarks to the rim of the door are all very clear.
