Description


This exceptional antique Edwardian silver dish, in sterling standard, has a plain oval boat shaped form.


The body of this impressive silver bread dish features broad sides embellished with fine and impressive pierced scrolling leaf decoration, emanating from a scrolling shield shaped vacant cartouche to either side.


The upper rim of the dish is encompassed with an applied gadroon decorated border, accented with a scrolling leaf designs.


The well of this fine example of antique silverware is plain and unembellished.


This exceptional Edwardian silver dish is a large example for its type.

The dish has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
