Description


This exceptional vintage George VI sterling silver bread dish has a rectangular form with cut corners in the Art Deco style.


The surface and rounded borders of this Art Deco silver bread dish are plain and unembellished.


The rim of this dish is ornamented with an applied, paralleling ribbed border.


Either end of the dish features a rectangular handpiece, embellished with a continuation of ribbed ornamentation.


The underside of the base bears the retailer's mark 'Walker & Hall, Sheffield'.
