These exceptional antique Edwardian cast silver candlesticks, in sterling standard, have a plain classical English George II form.

The plain hallmarked waisted capitals are encircled with bands of applied decoration and retain the original detachable push fit sconces with shell decoration to the shaped rim.

The upper portion of the baluster shaped column features a segmented hexafoil shaped knop embellished with shell textures.

Each column is further ornamented with a plain circular knop lower portion and surmounts a plain circular well.

These decorative columns surmount hexafoil shaped bases embellished with further fluted shell ornamentation.

These Edwardian cast silver candlesticks do not have weighted bases.
