Sterling Silver Canteen of Cutlery - Antique 1774 - 1824


The pieces of this exceptional antique sterling silver flatware set have been crafted in the Old English pattern.

The anterior surface of each fork handle and the reverse surface of each spoon handle features a pip to the terminal.

The surface of each piece is embellished with the contemporary engraved crest of a passion nail piercing a man's heart*.

Each spoon bears a plain rounded heel to the reverse of the bowl.

This antique silver flatware set consists of 86 pieces:

This antique Old English pattern flatware service is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse surface of each piece are very clear; due to the nature of the location of some hallmarks, there is some wear in keeping with age.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine and impressive canteen.
