The anterior surface of each fork handle and the reverse surface of each spoon handle features a pip to the terminal.

Each piece of this antique silver canteen of cutlery has been crafted by the collectable, renowned silversmiths Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd in 1930, apart from one dessert spoon which was crafted by Atkin Brothers and assayed in Sheffield, 1926.
