The pieces of this exceptional vintage straight* sterling silver flatware set for six persons have been crafted in the classic Dubarry I pattern.


Each piece of cutlery is embellished with a plain Chippendale shaped handles.


This 1960s sterling silver cutlery service consists of 44 pieces:

6 Table forks
6 Soup spoons
6 Dessert knives
6 Dessert forks
6 Dessert spoons
6 Teaspoons
Additional Pieces:
2 Serving spoons

The pieces of this vintage silver cutlery service, including the original knives, have been crafted by the Sheffield silversmiths Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd in 1964; these items will have been crafted in the same year but due to the hallmarking system the bases are struck with the date letter 'V' and 'W'.


The knives are fitted with the original blades and bear the mark 'Cooper Bros & Sons Ltd, Stainless Steel, Sheffield, England'.


This impressive vintage service is supplied in felt cutlery rolls; which not only protect the items in storage but significantly reduce tarnishing.


* "Straight" means all the pieces are made by the same maker in the same year.

This vintage 1960s sterling silver cutlery service is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

Each piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

There are some surface blemishes to the stainless steel blades as to be expected in keeping with age.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of each piece are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine and impressive cutlery set.
