An exceptional, fine and impressive vintage Elizabeth II English sterling silver straight Feather Edge pattern canteen of cutlery for six persons; an addition to our flatware collection

The pieces of this exceptional vintage straight* sterling silver flatware set for six persons have been crafted in the Feather Edge pattern.


The anterior surface of each piece of cutlery is embellished with an engraved feather edge border paralleling the shape of the handle.


The posterior of each fork and spoon is plain and unembellished.


This Feather Edge silver cutlery set consists of 42 pieces:

6 Table forks
6 Soup spoons
6 Dessert knives
6 Dessert forks
6 Dessert spoons
6 Teaspoons

The pieces of this silver flatware set, including the original knives, have been crafted by the Sheffield silversmith William Yates Ltd in 1986.


This service is fitted to the original, fine and impressive oak lift up lid and well canteen box.

This vintage Feather Edge silver cutlery set is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

Each piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

The oak wood canteen box has been professionally polished by a cabinet maker.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of each piece are all very clear.
