The pieces of this exceptional vintage straight* sterling silver cutlery set for six persons have been crafted in the Bright Cut - Irish pattern.


The anterior surface of each handle of each piece is embellished with bright cut engraved borders, accented with a star motif to the terminal above a vacant oval cartouche; the posterior and anterior surface of each knife handle bears identical ornamentation.


The posterior surface of each spoon and fork handle is plain and unembellished, apart from the featured hallmarks.

The pieces of this silver flatware set, including the original knives and carving set, have been crafted by the renowned silversmiths Mappin & Webb Ltd in 1986.


Each knife features the original blade and bears the maker's mark 'M, Trustworthy, Mappin & Webb, Sheffield'.


This vintage canteen of cutlery is supplied in felt cutlery rolls; which not only protect the items in storage but significantly reduce tarnishing.

This vintage six person cutlery set in sterling silver is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

Each piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

The bright cut engraved decoration is very crisp.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of each piece are all very clear.
