The fundamental pieces of this silver cutlery set have been crafted by the Sheffield silversmith JDavid & George Edward of George Edward & Sons in 1903, apart from the table and dessert knives, which are replacements**.

The replacement Sheffield made sterling silver knives were crafted in 1967 and retain the original steel blades.

This canteen of cutlery can be purchased with plain sterling silver handled Old English pattern knives if so desired, for further information please contact Andrew Campbell directly at [email protected];

This antique flatware service is supplied in felt cutlery rolls; which not only protect the items in storage but significantly reduce tarnishing.

* "Straight" means all the pieces are made by the same maker in the same year.

** ** Predominately all antique silver canteens have replacement knives as the originals have not stood the test of time.
