The table and dessert knives were crafted by D & S in 1947 and the blades bear the mark 'Gee & Holmes Ltd, Sheffield England, Stainless'.

This impressive canteen of cutlery is fitted to the original, fine and impressive veneered walnut two drawer canteen table; the cabinet has vacant and versatile storage compartments to the back of the drawers.

Each drawer is fitted with the original gilt metal ring loop handles accented with floral and ribbon bow accents.

This exceptional cutlery table is supported by four walnut legs; this is an impressive piece of furniture in its own right.

The upper plateau of the original canteen box cover incorporates a central burr walnut panel.

This exceptional example of vintage furniture retains the original fitted fully working locking mechanism and key.
