The anterior surface of each dish is encircled with a band of fluted ornamentation below an applied laurel leaf festoon suspended from magnificent ram's heads.

These pedestals are each supported by a large circular domed spreading foot embellished with further applied festoon and wreath ornamentation, in addition to an egg decorated border to the rim.

The interior of each antique caviar serving dish retains the original gilding.

These antique centrepieces are a magnificent gauge of silver, magnificent quality and in magnificent condition.

There is slight loss to the gilding to the interior of one dish, in keeping with age.

The cast and applied ornamentation to these footed dishes is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each dish, rim of each cover, in addition to the part hallmarks to each pedestal are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the magnificent gauge of silver.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of antique silverware.
