This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver chamberstick has a circular rounded form.

The cast silver bell shaped capital embellished with fluted decoration to the lower portion and a broad band of cross hatched, trellis style pattern flanked with two fine bands of scrolling ornamentation.

The capital of this antique chamberstick retains the original hallmarked detachable sconce encircled with a chased geometric zigzag border to the rim.

The surface of the sconce is ornamented with the contemporary bright cut engraved initials 'KEB' to one side with a Baron's coronet to the other.

The well of the wax pan is embellished with a central convex fluted design to the base of the capital's pedestal.

The wax pan is further embellished with the aforementioned contemporary bright cut engraved initials and coronet.

The wax pan is further ornamented with impressive pierced laurel leaf decoration above an interlacing band of chased circular floral motifs.

This impressive chamber candlestick is further ornamented with a band of chased leaf ornamentation to the rim.

This exceptional antique chamberstick is fitted with an impressive cast coiled mystical fish decorated handle with an elevated tail thumbpiece, accented with the details of the scales and facial features..

This antique chamberstick is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The cast, chased and pierced decoration is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the wax pan and sleeve of the sconce are all very clear; the hallmarks are deeply struck due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
