The cylindrical bell shaped capitals retain the original hallmarked sterling silver sconces.

The sconces and wax pans are each encompassed with an applied bead decorated border to the rim, in addition to a contemporary bright cut engraved crest depicting a griffin rampant with a cross fitchy.

These silver chambersticks retain the original hallmarked detachable snuffers.

The snuffers have a conical form and are surmounted by simplified urn style finials.

Each antique silver chamberstick is fitted with a shaped handle featuring a plain thumbpiece and receiver socket for the snuffer.

These Victorian silver chambersticks are an exceptional gauge of silver for their type, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The applied bead decoration is all very sharp and the bright cut engraved decoration is very crisp.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of these silver chambersticks, in addition to part hallmarks to the sleeve of the sconces and the surface of the snuffers are all very clear; the maker's marks have wear in keeping with age and location, but remain legible.
