This exceptional antique Victorian coffee pot, in sterling silver, has an ovoid rounded form onto a spreading circular foot.

The body of the coffee pot is embellished with vertical alternating wrigglework and bright cut engraved bands of entwining decoration and incorporates a chased bead bordered vacant cartouche to either side.

The upper portion of the body is encompassed with a band of impressive chased circular motifs accented with leaf decorated segments, all below an applied bead decorated border.

This antique silver coffee pot is fitted with a hallmarked hinged cover ornamented with further vertical bands to an impressive chased leaf design to the domed portion.

The cover retains the fine and impressive original hallmarked sterling silver finial embellished with further entwined and bead ornamentation to a swept elevated bead terminal.

The impressive hallmarked C shaped handle is ornamented with an impressive scrolling leaf design incorporated into the shaped thumbpiece.

The impressive swan necked spout is ornamented with chased decorated scrolling leaf designs to the lower portion in addition to a bead decorated border encompassing the socket.

The circular spreading foot is ornamented with corresponding ornamentation to the lower portion of the cover.

This exceptional antique silver coffee pot was crafted by the collectable and renowned London silversmiths John, Edward, Walter & John Barnard of Barnard & Sons Ltd; this piece was crafted in the same year and style as the teapot A7328.

This Victorian silver coffee pot is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The coffee pot has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

The interior of the coffee pot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.

The chased decoration is very sharp and the bright cut engraved decoration is very crisp.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the coffee pot and part hallmarks to the interior of the cover, handle and finial are all very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of Victorian silverware.
