This impressive trophy/vase is fitted with a magnificent pair of cast handles, realistically modelled in the form of ram's heads.
Each handpiece is composed from the ram's horns conjoining with the upper waisted portion of the body and the lower socket modelled in the form of the figure's fur chest.
This magnificent example of 1920s silverware retains the original push fit hallmarked cover, ornamented with further foliate decoration to the domed portion and surmounted with an impressive cast acorn style finial.
The piece is supported by a circular swept pedestal foot, to a plain square base.
