Description


This fine antique sterling silver cream jug has a circular rounded form.


The surface of the jug has a planished finish in the Arts and Crafts style.


This impressive Birmingham silver jug is encompassed with an applied moulded border to the rim of the body and spout.


The jug is fitted with a plain sterling silver stylised C shaped handle.


This silver cream jug has four Arts and Crafts style pillar style supports terminating with square swept feet.


The underside of the jug bears the retailer's mark 'Robinson & Co, The Square, Shrewsbury'.


This iconic jug was crafted by the renowned and collectable silversmith A E Jones.


Date: 1918

Condition


This antique cream jug is a very good gauge of silver, very good quality and in excellent presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body are all very clear.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of antique silverware.
