This exceptional antique Edward VIII sterling silver cup has a tiered bell-shaped form onto a baluster pedestal foot, in the iconic Art Deco style.


The stepped surface of the cup is plain and unembellished with an applied floral and foliate decorated border to the upper rim.


The cup is fitted with two impressive iconic Art Deco style handles, accented with angular stepped handpieces and tiered thumbpieces.


The waisted knopped pedestal is supported by a plain circular foot to a collet style rim.


This exceptional example of antique silverware secures to a composite plinth via a screw fitment.


The plinth is encircled with a vacant silver inscription band; the band may be engraved with a personal inscription if so desired.
