This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver four piece tea and coffee set/service consists of a coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug.

Each piece has a pear shaped panelled form onto four feet.

The pieces of this Victorian tea and coffee set are embellished with rounded concave panels displaying impressive bright cut engraved scrolling leaf and trellis designs, incorporating a shaped cartouche to either side.

One cartouche bears the contemporary bright cut engraved monogram initials 'CWC' and the other remains vacant.

The teapot and coffee pot are fitted with domed hinged hallmarked covers reflecting the identical concave formation as that to the body and embellished with a further bright cut engraved trellis designs accented to the upper and lower portions with simplified leaf motifs.

Each cover retains the original cast sterling silver tiered finial, incorporating protruding oval designs.

The upper rim of the cream jug and sugar bowl, in addition to each cover, bear a paralleling cast and applied scroll and leaf decorated border to the rim.

The components of this antique tea set are fitted with impressive cast silver C shaped handles featuring scrolling thumbpieces embellished with further bright cut engraved scrolling designs, in addition to bifurcating, scrolling lower terminals.

The coffee pot and teapot are fitted with impressive swan necked spouts, each embellished with bright cut engraved leaf and trellis panels, reflecting the design to the covers.

Each piece of this silver tea and coffee service is supported by four impressive cast and applied feet embellished with bead and scroll ornamentation.

The cream jug and sugar bowl retain the original gilded interior.

This impressive Victorian tea and coffee set is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

There are some minor surface blemishes, in keeping with age.

The cast ornamentation is very sharp and the bright cut engraved decoration is very crisp.

The interior of the each piece has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of each piece, in addition to part hallmarks to the teapot and coffee pot covers and handles are all very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these examples of Victorian silverware.
