£8,950.00

A magnificent, fine and impressive pair of antique English sterling silver fox boxes; part of our continental ornamental silverware collection

SKU C5678

These magnificent antique English cast sterling silver boxes have been realistically modelled in form of a pair of crouching foxes.

Each piece is ornamented with details reproducing the fox's fur and anatomical features.

These silver foxes bear a flush hinged hallmarked cover to the back; the flush hinge indicates the high quality of these pieces.

The interior of each piece bears the original gilding.

Each fox bears the retailer's mark 'Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company, 112 Regent Street, W' to the underside.

These magnificent boxes are the finest of their type you could hope to acquire.
