This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver goblet has a circular bell shaped form onto a knopped stem and circular spreading foot.

The body of this large silver goblet is embellished with bright cut engraved suspended stylised festoons accented with floral motifs and tiered swags.

The upper portion of the goblet is encompassed with bright cut engraved band of chevron decoration.

The knops to the stem are encircled with bead decorated borders.

The foot is ornamented with further bright cut engraved simplified floral motif ornamentation accented with a further bead border to the rim.

This impressive goblet was crafted by the Sheffield silversmiths John Frederick Fenton & Frank Fenton of Fenton Brothers.

This antique silver goblet is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The goblet has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

The bright cut engraved decoration is very crisp. and the applied bead ornamentation is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the goblet are all very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of Victorian silverware.
