This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver goblet has a circular bell shaped form onto a waisted pedestal to a circular spreading foot.

The body of this impressive goblet is ornamented with four chased lobed arches conjoined with cascading floral and leaf festoon decoration to each junction.

The upper portion incorporates four shaped panels embellished with chased floral and leaf motifs all on a on a matte background.

The upper portion of the pedestal is encircled with applied bead ornamentation.

The waisted pedestal features a plain circular knop to the centre.

The base of the pedestal is ornamented with graduated chased decoration descending to a simplified leaf pattern.

The circular spreading foot is encircled with an applied bead decorated border to the rim.

This sterling silver goblet retains the original gilt interior.

This antique sterling silver goblet is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in exceptional condition.

The piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

The chased decoration is all very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body are all very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this example of Victorian silverware.
