An exceptional, fine and impressive, antique Georgian sterling silver Hanoverian pattern table spoon; an addition to our 18th century silver flatware collection

This exceptional antique Georgian sterling silver spoon has been crafted in the Hanoverian pattern.


The anterior surface of the table spoon handle is embellished with a pip to the terminal, emanating up the handpiece.


The reverse surface of the handle terminal is embellished with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest depicting out of a coronet an eagle.


The reverse of this antique 18th century silver spoon features a rounded heel to the bowl.


This exceptional provincial example was crafted by the renowned Newcastle silversmith Robert Makepeace I.

This 18th century silver spoon is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in excellent condition.

The bright cut engraved crest has wear in keeping with age and location.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of the handle are all very clear; the date letter is partial and the date has been determined by the pattern and maker's registration information.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of Georgian silver flatware.
