The holders are embellished with cast ornamentation reproducing the fine definition of each dog's fur and anatomical features.

Each canine figure is ornamented with two cabochon gem-set eyes.

These rare antique silver menu holders are each supported two vertical prongs, paralleling the shape of the figures posture.

These impressive set of sterling silver menu holders are fitted to the original hinged leatherette box with satin and velvet lined interior, secured with a push fit catch.

The interior of the box cover bears the retailer's mark 'By Special Appointment to H.M the King, Curtis & Horspool, Jewellers & Goldsmiths, Leicester'.
