This exceptional set of antique silver napkin rings consists of six napkin rings, each with an octagonal panelled form.

The surface of each Edwardian piece is embellished with bright cut engraved quatrefoil shaped floral motifs within an angular geometric bordered design, accented with wriggle work ornamentation.

The decoration to each piece incorporates the engraved numerals 1-6 to one panel.

The upper and lower rim of each ring is encircled with an applied gadroon decorated border.

This fine set of Edwardian sterling silver napkin rings is fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation box, with a velvet and satin lined interior and secures with a push fit catch.

The interior of the box bears the retailer's mark 'Walker & Hall, Sheffield'.

These antique numbered sterling silver napkin rings are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The bright cut engraved decoration is very crisp and the applied ornamentation is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each napkin ring are all very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these examples of Edwardian silverware.
