Description


These fine antique Edwardian sterling silver napkin rings have a circular cylindrical form.


The surface of each item is embellished with bright cut engraved scroll and floral motif decoration incorporating a shaped Art Nouveau style scroll bordered vacant cartouche accented with embossed stylised tulip shaped pendant drops.


The napkin rings are further ornamented with a paralleling shaped border.


This pair of napkin rings is fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation box, with a velvet and satin lined interior, securing with a push fit catch.


The interior of the box displays the retailer's mark 'Pearce & Sons Ltd, Goldsmiths, Leeds, York & Leicester'.

Condition


These antique napkin rings are a very good gauge of silver, very good quality and in excellent presentation condition.

The presentation box is in excellent condition, in keeping with age.

The decoration to each napkin ring is very sharp and very crisp.

Full hallmarks struck to the anterior surface of each napkin ring are very clear.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this Edwardian silverware.
