These exceptional vintage English sterling silver napkin rings have an oval form.

Each napkin ring is individually embellished with an impressive engraved design depicting a pheasant amongst grassy terrain and a fish jumping out of water.

These exceptional vintage napkin rings are fitted to the hinged leatherette presentation box, with a velvet and satin lined interior.

The interior of the cover bears the retailer's mark 'Goldsmiths & Diamond merchants, G. Chambers & Sons, Head St, Colchester'.

These boxed sterling silver napkin rings were crafted by the Birmingham silversmiths J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd; the pieces will have been crafted in fewer year but due to the hallmarking system one is struck with the date letter 'S' (1967) and the other bears 'U' (1969).

These boxed sterling silver napkin rings are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

Each piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

The engraved decoration is very crisp.

The exterior of the box is in presentation condition; the hinged catch is deficient.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each napkin ring are very clear.
