This exceptional antique sterling silver photo frame has a rectangular shaped form.

The photograph frame is embellished with applied pierced decorated panels depicting scrolling designs and incorporating an oval vacant cartouche to the centre of the upper portion.

The pierced ornamentation is encompassed with a paralleling applied bead and spindle decorated border.

The plain rectangular internal window features a paralleling swept raised border.

This impressive George V sterling silver frame is fitted with a velvet covered back and hinged strut, secured with two swivel catches; the body and strut of the frame have been recovered in green velvet replicating the appearance of the original covering.

This impressive example of antique silverware is inset with a removable glass panel.
