This exceptional antique George III sterling silver presentation bowl has a plain rounded form onto a circular domed spreading foot and collet rim.

The lower portion of this silver bowl is embellished with chased convex fluted decoration accented with a plain paralleling border.

The upper portion of the body is encompassed with a broad band of evolute scrolling leaf ornamentation accented with alternating floral motifs.

The rim of this antique silver bowl is encircled with applied moulded decoration.

This exceptional example of antique silverware is fitted with two cast and applied handles, each fashioned in the form of lion's masks grasping a plain hallmarked ring loop handle.

The foot is encompassed with further chased fluted decoration, reflecting the same style as the body.

This Georgian silver bowl is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

There are some surface blemishes in keeping with age.

The cast and chased decoration is all very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the bowl are very clear in keeping with age and location.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this Georgian sterling silver bowl.
