The surface of the body is encircled with exceptional chased scrolling leaf and floral ornamentation, all on a matte background.

Either side of this English silver bowl incorporates a large, vacant shaped scroll bordered cartouche.

This antique silver bowl is further embellished with two exceptional cast and applied stylised lion mask designs, each incorporating a fruiting vine withdrawing from the back of the animal's mouth and joining the ornamentation to the body.

The plain waisted upper portion of the bowl is encircled with an undulating flared cast and applied border to the rim, accented with a gilded textured finish.
