This exceptional antique sterling silver presentation cup has a circular rounded form to a tapering baluster shaped knopped pedestal onto an inverse bell shaped domed spreading foot.

The body of this George V presentation cup is plain and unembellished with a plain applied moulded rim.

This fine cup is fitted with two tapering loop style handles with impressive scrolling leaf designs to the upper portion, incorporating plain scrolling thumbpieces.

The plain foot is encircled with an applied moulded border to the rim.

This fine cup is fitted to the original circular painted wood plinth, encircled with a bespoke vacant silver inscription band; the band may be engraved with a personal inscription if so desired.

The upper plateau of the plinth features the inset retailer's panel 'Mappin & Webb'.
