This exceptional antique silver bowl, in sterling standard, has a cylindrical tapering, waisted form onto a circular spreading foot.


The body of this large Edwardian tyg* bowl is embellished with three applied Art Nouveau triangular shaped scrolling designs, bordering three vacant cartouches


This impressive bowl is fitted with three C shaped handles incorporating Art Nouveau style thumbpieces and organic shaped flourishes to the upper terminals.


This versatile Art Nouveau style silver bowl is a substantial size and if required could be used as a wine/bottle cooler; with the use of the three handles, this piece could easily be transferred down a dining table.


* A tyg is a large English mug/drinking vessel with three or more handles. The mug was made to be shared, and handed round between several drinkers.

This antique Art Nouveau style silver bowl is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the cup are all very clear.
