These exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver salts have a circular rounded, shaped form to three feet.

The surface of these boxed sterling silver salts is encircled with a cast and applied scrolling border accented with leaf textures and floral designs.

This scrolling leaf ornamentation continues to the impressive cast bracket style feet and incorporates a floral motif to the upper portion of each foot.

The plain circular wells of these antique salts retain the original gilding.

The underside of each vessel bears the contemporary bright engraved crest of on a mound, a leopard couchant guardant, crowned, all amidst the full hallmarks.

These exceptional salts are fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation box with satin and velvet lined interior, with a push fit catch; there are allocated compartments to the interior for a pair of salt spoons, which remains vacant.

These antique boxed sterling silver salts are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The original presentation box does not secure closed, but can be considered to be in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of each salt are all very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these pieces of Victorian silverware.
