These exceptional antique William IV sterling silver salts have a circular rounded shaped form, onto a pedestal foot.
The body of each salt is embellished with embossed ornamentation realistically modelled in the form of entwined branches terminating with leaf designs.
The cast foot of each is piece matches the ornamentaion to the body.
Each piece is fitted with the original removable blue glass liner; the upper shaped rim of each liner replicates the undulating design to the salt rim.
This exceptional set of silver salts is accompanied by associated hallmarked sterling silver salt spoons, modelled in the form of stemmed flowers.
These Birmingham silver spoons were crafted by John Yapp & John Woodward of Yapp & Woodward in 1846
