These exceptional antique William IV sterling silver salts have a plain oval flared form, all in the Regency style.

The body of each salt is embellished with chased fluted ornamentation incorporating an oval vacant cartouche to one side.

The flared rims of the salts are ornamented with fine and impressive applied gadroon decorated borders accented with leaf motifs, in addition to a scallop and pendant drop border to the interior circumference.

The lower portion of the body is encircled with an egg decorated border.

Each salt is supported by four fine and impressive cast sterling silver Regency paw style feet ornamented with impressive scrolling decorated sockets.

These antique pieces of silverware retain the original gilded interior.

These exceptional sterling silver salts were crafted by the very collectable and important London silversmith Paul Storr.

These antique salts are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The applied decoration is very sharp and both of the bright cut engraved crests are very crisp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each salt are all clear in keeping with age and location.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these pieces of antique silverware.
