This exceptional antique George V silver salver has a plain circular shaped form.


The surface of the sterling salver is plain and unembellished.


The raised border is encompassed with a band of impressive applied traditional interlacing Lindisfarne/Celtic style decoration to the shaped, incurved rim.


The salver is supported by four fine and impressive hoof style feet.


The underside of the salver bears the retailer's mark 'Brook & Son, 87 George St, Edinburgh'.

The applied decoration is very sharp.
