Description


This fine antique George V sterling silver sauceboat has an oval plain boat shaped form onto a collet style foot, all in the Art Nouveau manner.


The surface of this antique sauceboat is plain and unembellished.


This fine example of antique silverware has an impressive elevated handle ornamented with an applied leaf decorated socket in junction with the body.


The underside of the sauce boat bears the retailer's mark 'Bruford & Son, Exeter'.


Date: 1935

Condition


This antique sauceboat is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface are very clear in keeping with age and location.
