Description


This fine antique George V sterling silver sauceboat has an oval plain boat shaped form onto an oval spreading foot.


The surface of this silver sauce boat is plain and unembellished.


The foot and shaped rim of the body are encompassed with impressive applied decorated borders.


This fine example of antique silverware has an impressive narrow loop style handle with a knopped ribbed design to the upper portion.


Date: 1924

Condition


This antique silver sauce boat is an excellent gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition.

The sauceboat has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition

The applied decoration is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface are very clear in keeping with age and location.
