Description


These fine antique George V sterling silver sauceboats have a plain rounded boat shaped form onto a ribbed oval foot.


The body of each piece is plain and unembellished.


These 1930s silver sauceboats are fitted with fine and impressive sterling silver C shaped handles with bifurcating lower terminal and scrolling thumbpiece.


These impressive antique sauceboats are fitted to the original and impressive hinged leatherette box with satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a hinged catch.


The interior of the presentation box bears the retailer's mark 'James Porter & Son, 25 & 26 Argyll Arcade, Glasgow'.

Condition


These antique 1930s silver sauceboats are a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The original presentation box is also in exceptional condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body of each sauceboat are all very clear.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these pieces of antique silverware.
