This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver scent flask has a cylindrical rounded form.

The surface of the flask is embellished with impressive chased decoration depicting floral branches incorporating a perched bird and nest, all on a matte background.

The scent bottle retains the original hinged cover ornamented with further chased decoration.

The bands of chased decoration are flanked with undulating wrigglework borders.

The cover opens to reveal the original glass stopper, glass vessel to the interior in addition to the gilt interior.

This impressive scent bottle was crafted by the renowned London silversmith Sampson Mordan & Co.

Date: 1881


This antique scent bottle is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The glass vessel and stopper are in perfect condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of bottle and interior of the cover are all very clear

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of antique Victorian silverware.
