This exceptional George III sterling silver ladle has been crafted in the Old English pattern with a shell shaped bowl.

The anterior surface of the handle is embellished with an undulating border in addition to a band of bright cut engraved triangular motifs to the centre; the reverse surface is plain apart from the feature hallmarks and pip to the terminal.

The reverse of this impressive example of antique silverware features a rounded heel to the impressive shell shaped bowl.

This antique Georgian silver ladle is an exceptional gauge of silver for its type, exceptional quality and in excellent condition in keeping with age.

The bright cut engraved decoration to the surface of the handle terminal has wear in keeping with age.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of the handle are all very clear.
