Condition

This antique Hester Bateman silver ladle is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The engraved decoration is very crisp; the definition of the ornamentation indicates this spoon has seen little or no use.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of the handle are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of Georgian dining silverware.
