This exceptional antique George V sterling silver spirit kettle on stand has a plain oval rounded form.

The lower portion of the body is embellished with fine and impressive fluted decoration, in the Queen Anne style.

This antique tea kettle is fitted with a hinged hallmarked cover, which also features fluted decoration and retains the original and impressive carved stained wood and sterling silver urn style finial.

This fine example of antique teaware is fitted with an impressive plain angular handle to either side of the central, carved stained wood handpiece.

The antique tea kettle is fitted with an impressive spout, ornamented to the underside with embossed fluted decoration.

The kettle detaches from the original hallmarked sterling silver stand supported by four impressive fluted decorated legs accented with a simplified leaf motif to each terminal.

The stand incorporates a plain frame which retains the original hallmarked detachable spirit burner, ornamented with further fluted decoration and incorporating a hallmarked hinged snuffer; the ornamentation to the burner indicates the high quality of the piece.

The kettle stand is fitted with the original chains and hallmarked security pegs.

The interior of the kettle has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the kettle and stand, in addition to the part hallmarks to the cover, spirit burner and pegs are all very clear.
