This exceptional antique George V sterling silver sugar bowl has a circular rounded form onto a circular spreading foot.

The surface of this antique bowl has a planished finish.

The upper portion of the bowl is encompassed with an applied traditional interlacing Lindisfarne/Celtic style border.

Either side of the body is embellished with a large quatrefoil cross motif with a bead design to each terminal, reflecting the iconic Lindisfarne style.

This bowl is fitted with two impressive handles, each ornamented with further chased interlacing designs to the handpiece in addition to a large, simplified cross design to the terminal in junction with the body.

The pedestal and rim of the foot are encirled with chased decorated interlacing designs accented with circular motifs.

This exceptional bon bon/sugar bowl was crafted by the renowned silversmiths Asprey & Co Ltd.

This antique silver bowl is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the bowl are very clear; the maker's mark has wear in keeping with age and location.
