This exceptional Victorian silver sugar bowl, in sterling standard, has a circular rounded form.

The body of this antique silver sugar bowl is embellished with impressive bright cut engraved scrolling leaf and strapwork style decoration accented with trellis patterns and foliate sprays.

The decoration to the body incorporates two large vacant circular cartouches.

The shaped upper rim of the bowl is ornamented with an applied bead decorated border.

This sterling silver sugar bowl is fitted with two fine and impressive cast and applied scrolling handles featuring a birfucating lower terminal and strapwork style thumbpiece.

This impressive Victorian sterling silver sugar bowl retains the original gilded interior.

This antique Victorian silver sugar bowl is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The applied decoration is very sharp and the bright cut engraved decoration is very crisp.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the bowl are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
